Voila Experts has declared Open House with its First Ever Offline Event, A Startup Pitching, and Open Networking Mixer

Yet, there is something special about meeting your peers and fellow entrepreneurs face-to-face. People are more likely to work together, build trust, and collaborate when they meet in person. As a result of this common sentiment among its members, Voila Experts, an expert network matchmaking platform launched its first ever offline event – Voila Open House – A Startup Pitching and Open Networking Mixer on September 17th at Fortune Select Global Hotel, Gurugram, India.

Founded by Anjali Bawa, with a mission to revolutionize the consulting and advisory ecosystem by bridging the gap and providing expertise with transparency, ease, and convenience.
The Voila Open House aimed to provide help startup founders connect with investors, industry experts, and businesses. Bringing together the industry’s finest consultants was another step toward establishing an ecosystem that would maximize opportunities for startups and entrepreneurs.
More than 60 startups applied to pitch, but only 15 from various industries, including Fintech, Healthtech, SaaS, DTC, and marketplace businesses, were selected to pitch live.
A well-organized show, started with the founder’s note, about how Voila experts was born and why there is a need to collaborate and network to bridge the gap for consulting in early to mid-stage businesses, and then declaring the House Open, followed by startup pitching, and open networking mixer between founders, investors and expert professionals.
The event’s highlights were its pitches. To make the session more enriching and valuable, the event was judged by the esteemed panel from the startup ecosystem – Tanya Kapoor, Managing Brand Initiatives at Info edge and Founding Member of Wepreneurs; Karan Verma – Co-Founder & Director of Faad Networks and Tushar Kansal – Founder/ CEO of Kansaltancy Ventures.
Ecosystem partners brought their robust solutions which elevated the overall vision for the show. In association with HSBC banking, powered by Bigin by Zoho, marketed by Growth agency Success brew, and India’s largest non-profit startup community Headstart, the event was a resounding success, with more than 120 people attending the event and people lining up as early as 11 am to the event being a full house until 5 pm.
60+ Startups from industries such as CleanTech, FinTech, Enterprise SaaS, D2C, Ecommerce Marketplaces, EdTech, AutoTech, RetailTech, HRTech, Web3, and HeathTech, presented their elevator pitches at the event. The pitches ranged from businesses that were just starting up to ones that had been around for several years. All of them were interesting and well-thought-out, but some stood out more than others. Here are the three that the audience found the most impressive:
1. Rippl (Enterprise SaaS) engages your audiences through gamified engagement spaces and gets first-party data. No Code & API solutions enable brands to create cool immersive experiences for their audiences.
2. MoMoms (D2C Consumer Brand) a new-mom community-driven brand, MoMoms has been growing rapidly to meet the needs of new mothers. Initiated to promote exclusive breastfeeding among new moms and normalise breastfeeding in social settings.
3. Impulse (HealthTech) is a one-stop clothing and product sourcing solution, offering its clients a 360° service across the entire supply chain from design to delivery. Their experienced teams are based across India, Bangladesh, and the UK, offering everything from design to shipping.
The top three startups will now be taking part in another live pitch-a-thon competition with a detailed business deck discussion, and a sure shot at funding on Voila Expert Tank 3, to be telecasted live on 30th September, 7 pm IST.
Voila Open House also hosted a networking mixer in addition to the startup pitching competition which allowed entrepreneurs, experts, and investors to get a chance to meet one another, exchange ideas, and learn from one another as well as pitch their startups to each other. Everyone had a great time and found it a worthwhile opportunity to expand their professional networks as well as learn about upcoming startups and products that are available. A lot of new connections and associations were made, and guests left with big smiles on their faces.
